Our Story

Headquartered in Bengaluru, we work at the intersection of a content studio and an impact lab. Our work unfolds through films, music, immersive experiences, and more. Each story is developed as a long-form body of work crafted with intent, built with care, and allowed to evolve over time.

Built on the belief that humanity is not separate from the Earth, but a part of it, we design content systems so unique, they are built to travel across formats, platforms, and audiences. And eventually become enduring stories that outlive us all.

Wild Karnataka poster

Wild Karnataka

Narrated by Sir David Attenborough, Wild Karnataka is India's highest-grossing wildlife film, a visual ode to the forests and coastlines of Amoghavarsha's home state. Shaped from over 400 hours of footage, it won two National Film Awards and was screened at the United Nations on World Wildlife Day.

Gandhada Gudi - Journey of a True Hero poster

Gandhada Gudi

A tribute to legacy and the wild, Gandhada Gudi marked the final on-screen journey of Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar, son of the forests his father had once immortalised in the original 1973 film. Created with Amoghavarsha, it ran for 100 days in theatres and released internationally across the US, UAE, and Singapore.

The Homecoming poster

The Homecoming

A timeless tale of Puddles, a green sea turtle, whose ancient journey from shore to ocean, and back home, is now threatened by plastic. Narrated by Jackie Shroff and Dia Mirza, it now lives as a permanent exhibit at the Museum of Solutions, featured in TIME's list of the World's Greatest Places, and has reached over a million young minds.

Kali poster

Kali

What began as a grandmother's walk sparked a movement. Kali, a short documentary on the ecological importance of the Kali River, reshaped public consciousness and policy, leading to the transformation of Dandeli-Anshi Tiger Reserve into the protected Kali Tiger Reserve in 2015. The film went on to win the Award of Merit at the Impact Docs Awards.

Amoghavarsha directed Ricky Kej's Grammy-winning album, Shanti Samsara, which was unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the then French President Francois Hollande at the United Nations Climate Conference in Paris (COP 21).

River Terns of Bhadra poster

River Terns of Bhadra

River Terns of Bhadra documents the lives of River Terns that throng the Bhadra backwaters in Karnataka each summer. One of India's first wildlife films to be licensed under Creative Commons, it was nominated for Wildlife Conservation at the CMS Vatavaran 2015 film festival.

Jwala poster

Jwala

In Chandrapur, Maharashtra, one of India's most intense human-tiger conflict zones, the tiger is both feared as a killer and worshipped as a deity. Jwala explores this paradox, tracing how a surging tiger population and rising fatal encounters exist alongside a fragile, enduring coexistence between people and predator.
